How to Create Your own Keyboard Shortcuts in Windows 10 ?? :: 2 Simple Ways.

Windows 10 allows you to create custom shortcuts for any program, whether it's a traditional "desktop" app, a new-fangled "universal app" or one of Windows 8's "metro apps."  Here's how.

Method 1: Create a Desktop               Shortcut.

1. Open a command prompt window. You can get there by typing "cmd" into the Cortana / Search box and then right clicking on Command Prompt and selecting "Run as administrator."

 

2. Type "explorer shell:AppsFolder" (without quotes) at the command prompt and hit Enter. A window with a list of all your apps appears.

3. Right click on an app and select Create shortcut. It may be easier to find your app if you change the view setting to "detailed list" so you can see all the icons in a single column.

4. Click Yes when asked if you want the shortcut on the desktop. A new shortcut icon appears on your desktop.

5. Right click on the new shortcut icon and select Properties.

6. Enter a key combination in the Shortcut key field. The combination must be CTRL + ALT + a letter / number.

7. Click OK.

Note: Remember not to use the same key combination twice. Also note that some programs use CTRL + ALT + keyboard shortcuts that would also launch if you were in their windows. For example, in Photoshop Elements, CTRL + ALT + I brings up the resize menu.

Method 2: Use the Start Menu.

1. Open the Start Menu.

2. Navigate to the icon or tile for the app you want. If the app is not pinned as a tile, you can find it by clicking on the All apps and scrolling through the alphabetical list.

3. Right click and select Open file location. A window opens with a shortcut icon. If Open file location doesn't appear on the menu, this is a modern or universal app and you'll have to follow method 1 above.

4. Right click on the shortcut icon and select Properties.

5. Enter a key combination in the "Shortcut key" box. 

6. Click OK.

internet access is essential for many users, and there have been reports that users are getting “Windows can’t connect to this network error”  message in Windows 10 while trying to establish an internet connection and cannot connect to WiFi. This can be a big problem, but there are easy ways to solve Windows 10 can't connect to network error problem.You can try the following easy three ways to get connected to a network.

Solution 1: Uninstall Your Network Adapter drivers

If you get error "can’t connect to this network" on Windows 10, it is probably the problem of the wireless adapter drivers, for this issue, it is suggested to uninstall network adapter and allow Windows 10 to reinstall the driver again automatically. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Press Windows Key + X and choose Device Manager from the list.
   
2. In device manager go to double click on "Network adapters" and click uninstall on the respective network adapter. If asked  “Delete the driver software for this device” click OK
   
3. After the driver is uninstalled, restart the computer. After restarting Windows 10 will automatically reinstall and fix the new adapter drivers. Now after installing network adapter drivers try to establish network connection to see if you can establish connect to the network.

Solution 2: Forget the wireless connection

1. Go to Settings and then to Network & Internet.

3. Scroll down to the Manage known networks, select Wireless network and click Forget.
4. After "Forget", connect to the same wireless network again and put the Wi-Fi password again.

Solution 3: Disable and enable your wireless connection 

To solve  Windows 10 can’t connect to this network error, just disable connection and enable it again. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Go to  Network and Sharing Center.
2. Click on Change adapter settings.
3. On wireless connection (your connected Wifi connection) right click and select Disable.
   
4. Right-click the same connection again and choose Enable.

If all the above solutions don't work, maybe you should change your network adapter. Certain USB WiFi adapters are not compatible with the Windows 10, and if that is the case, you may have to replace/change your network adapter with a newer model to resolve Windows can’t connect to this network problem.
